This is just the first of a few pieces of art I'm looking forward to getting from *
bec-sparrow as part of the prices for me coming in 2nd place in her contest. She's such a sweetheart!

I ADORE this and it makes me to draw Sydney again!
I'm also attached to these
Gnoll creatures from Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. I bought that recently for PS2 since I'm trying to buy up a lot of good games while I can. With the PS3 on the rise I'm trying to stretch my money's worth! That's an awesome game that I had rented, but ever bought or completed. The Gnoll/Armored Hyena things are awesome...
I've hardly had any time to do anything but check deviantART lately, particularly because it's finals week. I put in about 8 hours of studio/printing time finishing up my graphic design portfolio for the final. That's due on Friday. Wish me luck!

I started writing something one night and I have no idea what to do with it... I'll post it. Any comments are appreciated. I've been more interested in writing than I have been in drawing lately because of all the graphic design stuff I've been doing: being more methodical is suitable right now since it's the week before finals, when I get to go home!
So far this is called "The Reaction." Go head and try to figure out the Latin, it's not that hard. If you need an answer, ask.

They're, as usual in italics, Versa's inner thoughts.
non possum surgēre... My eyelids fluttered rapidly.
mox sum ero in terram mortis...surgē! Surgē!
Suddenly I screamed.
You know that distinct feeling you get when you're close to overcoming a cold, where every time you cough uncontrollably, it feels like your throat is closing and you're close to vomiting? That's what I encountered as I lay there on the ground, feeling as if I had awoken from a coma. Zack had his arms entwined around my waist, being careful not to restrain my torso too much as I hacked away.
The ground was cold, hard, shoving unforgivably into my tailbone and side. Where my family's insignia was upon my lower back hurt extraordinarily. Saliva was caked against my lips, and my tongue felt sickeningly dry. Finally I garnered enough strength to roll up into a sitting position, staring up at Zack despairingly.
What just happened to me? I interrogated weakly.
He had never been so strong for me before; I gave him credit. With his brow furrowed in confusion, he replied, I'm not too sure. He placed his hand across my stomach, which was bare for some reason, almost as if her were a doctor checking my pulse with a stethoscope. In fact, I was missing nearly all of my clothes with the exception of my bra, underwear, and my left sock. The rest of them were nowhere I could see from my vantage point.
My head hit the dirt and my eyelids slammed shut again. The hair on my arms, thankfully my normal brunette color and no longer fur, stood on end from the November chill. I was dying to get inside. More so I was dying to know what the hell had just taken over my body.
The sound of footsteps approached from the direction of my back deck. I'm thinking something along the lines of Versa, either in a dream or in a non-canonical setting, having some disease or sickness that screws with her transformations, or perhaps passes them along to others. I might throw this into
de vita sua since I'm still on a big Latin kick right now and want to write more about her history. I really don't know, since lately I've been scribbling things down even if they aren't pertinent to any particular storyline in-between bits of information I pick up from my very interesting Latin and Art History classes.
I'm offering a free lineart request for the deviant who catches a screenshot my 70,000th pageview.

Send me a screenshot and you win, that's it! No faked shots, please!

"Be who are you are, and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind."
On a random note, my sister drives a Versa.
Haha, every time I see one of those I laugh inside.
