So one night I was sketching, trying another pencil piece. But I hate non-colored pieces because they're too boring, so I gave some GIMP-coloring a go and I think it turned out better than I had expected. At least this time I colored below my pencil shading so Versa doesn't look all gray. Everyone probably thinks I'm such a depressing person... I'm not. I'm very happy. This new style has given me some issues (though I think it gives the piece more depth), so please give feedback and full view! Time taken: 3 hours on and off to sketch and shade; 3 hours to color and re-shade. Materials: Mechanical pencil, GIMP v2.2. Music: Interestingly enough, I took a break from coloring and was browsing iTunes for some alternative stuff when I stumbled upon this group called TV On the Radio. Their most popular song on iTunes is called "Wolf Like Me." How freaking coincidental are these lyrics? Reference: Some tutorials from rabbitprince.com. Yeah, the index finger is like... umm, what? I used a picture of my own hand for reference, but I think halfway through, I drew it from a slightly different angle maybe.
