This sculpture has been three months in the making now! I'm really proud of it, and besides the rather bad craftsmanship of the music staves, I think I did a pretty good job. And, as a band geek, I've always wanted a music-themed piece of art - this piece means a lot to me! =D

If you're curious, these are the pieces of music that are featured in his head, some of my favorites:

- Vesuvius (trombone)
- Chorale and Shaker Dance (trombone)
- Diamond Fanfare (trombone)
- The Rolling Thunder March (trombone)
- Danse Bacchanale (alto saxophone)
- Misty (alto saxophone)
- Moondog (alto saxophone)

Time taken: Nearly three months
Materials: Brown clay, various clay modeling tools, acrylic paint, gluesticks, copies of various music, grill lighter, hot glue, approximately 1/8" thick metal wire, approximately 1/16" thick metal wire, an awl, black spray paint, Krylon Clear Coat protective spray, a wire cutter, and a hammer.
Dimensions: 13" x 10.5" x 9"
