Attention: Versa's wounds are not self-inflicted. She just got in a fight with another wolf pack and killed something along the way. I'm not in some clinically depressed state or anything... I'm mentally and emotionally stable... alright?
Entry 15 of 100 for the 100 Art Themes Challenge (#17, Blood). There have been a lot of things on my mind lately and this is a great way to release a lot of thoughts from my head. I feel like I've been treating people like my parents and my friends like crap lately, so I feel a bit like Versa here - I realize what I have done wrong, and I feel the results of my actions. (At least I haven't killed anyone, though.) And it can't hurt to vent a little artwise every now and then. That's why I spent so much meticulous time on this... so please, critique this as much as you'd like. Please full-view! I'm very happy with it, both art and meaning-wise.  Time taken: 10 hours or so. Materials: Pencil and the GIMP. Layers: 24. Credit: Versa's poster is from here at sxc.hu. I used splatter brushes from... crap, I can't remember where. Versa and the image are (C) =SaxGirl1010.
