Artist's Comments

This is a sketch commissioned by *megami-no-yorokobi of her character Keahi. Some of you may recognize the name or attire from a previous drawing I did of him. He's a shapeshifter, so I chose to draw him in his human form.

I had quite a bit of fun with this! I added his coat because one, it's awesome, and two, because I felt the pose needed a bit more dynamism.

Awesome art! I'm enamored with you ability to draw hands. Not only are they accurate, but you manage to place a lot of detail into them without making the hands appear old or wrinkly.

In fact, I think that reigns true for all parts of the human anatomy that you draw -- extremely detailed, but not excessive. : )

I love drawing hands, so thank you! :) This appears a lot better because I used reference, but I did add a few things. Sometimes I wonder if what I do is too much - or too little.
